Cirrus are one of the largest producers of piston-powered aircraft and their range of single-engine piston models include the SR20, The Cirrus SR22, as well as the turbocharged SR22T; KinectAir’s favoured model
The SR series has been on of the best-selling high-performance piston aircraft for 19 consecutive years; Cirrus deliver over 300 SR series planes annually (and have done for more than 5 years).
In 2020, Cirrus announced updated SR20, SR22, and SR22T models with the introduction of the all-new sixth-generation G6 SR Series.
The series included a new Cirrus Aircraft App. The Cirrus IQ remote connectivity platform powers an app which provides a live digital connection to an SR Series plane from almost any location.
There are now more than 8,000 SR Series aircraft owners in more than 60 countries, a figure which Cirrus announced in 2021 that they would mark by producing
a limited run of just eight 8000 Limited Edition SR Series planes in recognition of those 8,000 SR Series aircraft deliveries.

Cirrus was founded in 1984 by Alan and Dale Klapmeier, brothers, as the Cirrus Design Corporation.
Cirrus Aircraft manufacture piston single and jet aircraft and are leaders in the field. They are headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, as well as Knoxville, Tennessee, and also have facilities in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and McKinney, Texas.
Cirrus aircraft have flown over 11 million hours worldwide, and one of their most widely praised features is the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), which won a Robert J. Collier Trophy in 2017 and is standard equipment on all Cirrus aircraft – a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified safety system which ensures safe return for passengers on board.
In 2011, Cirrus was acquired by China Aviation Industry General Aircraft.
